BATHER AND/OR GROOMER

We are looking for an experienced Bather AND/OR Groomer (full-time or part-time) that is experienced with all breed styles, standard cuts and able to communicate well with clients to find the best groom tailored to their pet. The job requires someone who is a positive, self-motivated, responsible and reliable team player. Must respect animals and have the patience to work with difficult pets.
The ideal candidate must...
For Groomers: Be competent in all aspects of dog bathing and/ or grooming including but not limited to bathing, brush outs, dematting, flea/tick remediation, breed specific and able to groom to breed standards AND/OR client requests.
Two years of professional experience is preferred, but recent grooming academy graduates will also be considered. Must be proficient in scissoring and clipper techniques. Able to groom a minimum of 4 dogs per day (from start to finish).
For Bathers: Be competent in all aspects of dog bathing including but not limited to bathing, brush outs, dematting, flea/tick remediation, and ability to groom to breed standards AND/OR client requests. (For Bather specific trims such as outline trims).
One year of professional experience is preferred. Must be proficient in basics such as sanitary trims, feet to outline trims.
Able to groom a minimum of 6 dogs per day (from start to finish).
Ensure the safety and well-being of each animal
Maintain salon cleanliness and safety
Basic computer skills and ability to complete personal daily grooming paperwork
Have excellent people skills, a great attitude, and a willingness to learn.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment, sharp attention to detail, strong multitasking skills and very organized.
Able to lift 50 pounds.
Knowledge of the grooming industry and motivation to continue your education.
High school diploma or GED

PETCARE COUNSELOR
We are accepting applications for the position that is responsible for the care of our boarding and daycare pets. This job's primary role includes pet feeding, cleaning, enrichment, and client interaction for animals being dropped off or picked up. Shifts vary between our open hours of 7 am- 7 pm. Pay starts at $13.00/hr. Interested in a career with animals? On the job training provides the tools and knowledge to become a pet care professional in as little as 30 days. Advancement opportunities available for motivated candidates. We are looking for part-time and full-time individuals. All candidates must be available for possible shifts on weekends and holidays.
